WWE MITB Kickoff Show

The WWE MITB Kickoff Show will begin at 6 PM ET and is scheduled to have a couple matches. As expected, the WWE waited until Wednesday, May 15th, to announce a different match for the Kickoff Show. Cruiserweight Championship Match Tony Nese (c) Ariya Daivari Tony Nese won the cruiserweight belt at WrestleMania 35 by beating the long reigning champ Buddy Murphy. He’d provide Murphy a rematch two days later and triumph again. After that match, Nese would defeat his former tag partner Drew Gulak at a non-title match. It proved that Nese was along with his game and prepared to defend the name at the MITB PPV. Ariya Daivari made his title taken by winning a Fatal Four-Way game and then conquered Oney Lorcan. Daivari is a talented cruiserweight, but that I just don’t find the WWE taking off the belt Nese so soon. Buddy Murphy managed to bring credibility to the title with a lengthy reign and fantastic matches. Albeit, those games were around the Kickoff Display of every major event. That said, I think that Nese will win this game. It will be a fantastic bout between two talented wrestlers, but the WWE appears to be high on Nese. WWE Bet: Tony Nese (N/A) SmackDown Tag Team Title Match The Usos Daniel Bryan and Rowan (c) Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Since this past year, Daniel Bryan was the main star on SmackDown because he held the world title, became the top heel, and placed on solid matches for his whole run. Teaming up with Erik Rowan made things much more entertaining for Bryan as he now had a big body guard to shield him. Unfortunately, Bryan would lose the world title to Kofi Kingston in WrestleMania 35. Then he missed a few weeks because of an accident only to return and be handed the SmackDown tag straps with Rowan. The Usos were officially moved to RAW during the Superstar Shakeup. But, due to this stupid Wild Card rule, they’ve managed to look on SmackDown. The Usos are the former SmackDown tag champs having lost the belts to the Hardys who finished up relinquishing the names due to Jeff Hardy requiring knee surgery. That’s how the belts were just handed to Bryan and Rowan. However, the Usos came to SmackDown a few weeks back and flocked to Shane McMahon just handing the belts over to Bryan and Rowan and a match was made on SmackDown. Bryan and Rowan would win the game and the straps. The Usos continued to be a thorn in the side of McMahon, therefore that he left a tag title match between both of these teams.
