Manchester United in talks for new shirt sponsorship deal from 2021
Manchester United have been in talks with a variety of organisations that may see a name show up from 2021 on the front of their shirts.
The recent Chevrolet bargain, that began in 2014, is worth over 450m more than seven years and remains the biggest amount paid into a soccer club for top sponsorship.
Industry sources are convinced a deal will see United game or exceed their present agreement.
About a fortnight ago, Uniteds executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward made evident the significance of sponsorship revenue to future investment in the playing group.
A United spokesman said on Thursday:Chevrolet is a fantastic partner. The sponsorship proceeds to reach its objectives for both parties and we will continue to function to activate and maximise it.
The recent Chevrolet deal equates to #47m annually and was more than double the preceding sponsorship with AON.
AON sponsors the United training kit and training floor – a bargain that ignites the club 17m a year alone.
