Wide receiver Antonio Brown has been introduced by the Oakland Raiders just two days before the team’s NFL season opener.
Brown was fined on Friday following a confrontation with all Raiders general manager Mike Mayock however had been expected to deal with the Denver Broncos on Monday.
The news came just hours after Brown posted a message Instagram that ended:»Publish me @raiders.»
Brown became one of the NFL broad receivers when Oakland was combined by him from Pittsburgh.
He arrived from the Steelers to a three-year price worth greater than $50m (#41m) per season.
Brown has allegedly not received any money by the Raiders so far.
Brown’s departure was supported by the group on their site in a one-line statement.
Brown will currently sign for any team as a free agent and is not subject to waivers.
«We are focused on the future and I will immediately work on signing up to a new team,» Brown’s agent Drew Rosenhaus told NFL.com.
«Antonio is anticipating a new start.»
Brown’s launch comes at dramatic period for the player’s end.
Since arriving at the Raiders, he has missed time because of injuries to his toes caused by entering a room without wearing appropriate footwear.
He sat out a length of the off-season during a battle with the NFL within his helmet.
The altercation involving Brown and Mayock led producing an apology in a group meeting on Friday morning, also finished with the group needing to be separated, according to reports.
