Rochdale in a 3-2 Sky Bet League One triumph secured their first win of this year, but gave AFC Wimbledon a scare.
All the hosts goals came in the first half as the Dons won in 12 attempts for the first time.
They made an ideal start as they took the lead with two minutes around the clock, Marcus Forss lashing home a volley.
